This has been on the “To Do” list for the past decade, so we are very excited that Family Worship Resources (familyworship.org.uk) has re-launched online as as Rising Generation Music (risinggenerationmusic.org.uk)
To call it a re-brand would be a bit pretentious, but there are a number of reasons for the change. More on those reasons in future posts. We hope to take the very best of what made FWR at one point in time the most popular UK christian music website, as well as leaving behind some of the aspects that were stuck in bit of a time warp.
What has not changed is the desire to make great songs and resources from a grass roots level in the local church available as freely and widely as possible. The aim is to serve the church, and to do whatever we can to bring the timeless truths of the christian story and journey to all ages, and especially children.
Psalm 145:4 "One generation commends your works to another"
Please let us have any feedback – there will be a few issues, bugs, etc. with the new site I have no doubt, and if there is anything you’d like that you don’t find, just let us know.
